A set of five complete bead stairs in black and gray beads, spanning quantities 1 through 9, for use in skip counting, multiplication table layout, and the bead chain work introduced in Lower Elementary. Having multiple stair sets allows several children to work simultaneously on decanomial or commutative law explorations without waiting for materials. The black and gray coloring is the standard for these supplemental stairs, distinguishing them from the colored bead bar materials used in earlier numeration work.
